Judit Rius Judit works for Knowledge Ecology International (KEI)/ Consumer Project on Technology (CPTech) as Foreign Law Adviser* in Washington, DC.

Prior to her present position, Judit worked at the legal department of an international pharmaceutical company. Judit has also worked for the Information Highway Group, an information technology consulting firm where she co-wrote a study on the "legal aspects of e commerce in Europe" and for Intelligent Software Components, a spin off company of the Artificial Intelligence Research Institute dependent on the Spanish Ministry of Science and Technology. Judit is the co-author of the intellectual property courses of a postgraduate in the legal implications of free software at the on line Universitat Oberta de Catalunya. During the summer of 2005, Judit was a legal intern at Electronic Frontier Foundation and during the fall of 2005 she collaborated with the Stanford Center for Internet and Society.

Judit received a Licenciatura en Derecho (JD equivalent) from Pompeu Fabra University in Barcelona, Spain and a Master's Degree in International Studies from Pompeu Fabra and Geneva Universities. In January 2006, she graduated from Stanford Law School with an LLM in Law, Science and Technology.
