A native of New York City, Ruth relocated to Washington, DC in August 2006 and started at CPTech

educational programs. She has taught writing, English as a Foreign Language, and English as a Second
Language to college students in New York City, Japan and the Dominican Republic, and to prison inmates
in New York. For the past few years, she was the coordinator of NYC early intervention programs catering
to autistic children.
