Spring Gombe, as Global Access Liaison at HAI-Europe supports the networks of HAI Europe, Medecins sans Frontieres and OXFAM in Africa, Asia and the Pacific, Latin America and Central and Eastern Europe, providing policy analyses and information related to Access to Essential Medicines to the networks, and supporting national, regional and international policy advocacy. Over the past eight years she has worked as a policy officer and programme coordinator for various organizations delivering health services to vulnerable and under-served communities. She worked with MSF in Berlin as a policy researcher in their Programming Unit, and in Uganda, as Coordinator for the Campaign for Access to Essential Medicines. Before that she was a policy officer at Rights and Humanity in the UK, the Institute for Urban Family Health in New York, the Chicago Department of Public Health and OXFAM (Intermon) in Barcelona. She completed her graduate studies in public policy at New York University, and undergraduate in biological science at Cornell University.
